DESCRIPTION:Dr. Henry H. Prown\, from the Holodomor Research and Education 
 Consortium at the University of Alberta\, gives an illustrated lecture on 
 the history and ongoing denial of the 1932–33 famine in Ukraine. He traces
  how efforts to obscure or distort the Holodomor have evolved from the 193
 0s to today\, and why historical truth matters against propaganda and disi
 nformation.\n\nThe event runs on Ukrainian Famine and Genocide Memorial Da
 y and takes about 90 minutes. No registration is needed\, and admission is
  free for museum members or seven dollars at the door for everyone else.
