Starpainter, a six-piece indie band from Alberta, plays cinematic folk mixed with fuzzy country rock and textured pop. They headline the night with two opener acts: Carter Felker, a solo artist with a reedy tenor voice who builds songs around fingerpicked guitar and themes that feel raw and universal, and Glass Hand Family Band, a local ensemble drawing on prairie country, steel guitar, and what they call country-western psychedelia.
