A monthly community cooking gathering where neighbours meet in the Grace-Westminster United Church kitchen to cook together and prepare a meal for people experiencing homelessness. No cooking experience needed, and you arrive as you are. October's menu includes stone soup, focaccia, and black bean brownies. Bring vegetables, herbs, pantry ingredients, or a soup addition if you have them, or simply bring your hands to chop and knead. After cooking, volunteers can help distribute the meal to people in local encampments.
