the lion, the witch and the wardrobe

arts & culturefamily friendlydate night

Burnt Thicket Theatre stages Ron Reed's two-actor adaptation of C.S. Lewis's classic, presented through Live Five. A grown-up Peter and Lucy Pevensie return through the wardrobe to a snowy Narnia, and the two performers turn everyday bedroom objects into the magic of the story. The company says it suits ages 6 and up and includes some description of battle violence.

Runs November 19 to 29 at the PAVED Arts and AKA event space, 424 20th Street West, with 7:30 pm shows and a Sunday matinee at 2 pm. The November 19 preview is pay what you can.
