the first year-round public market in the province, housed in the historic farmers market building in Riversdale. inside you will find local food, drink, fresh grocery, prepared meals, and makers selling under one roof, open through every season. from May into September an outdoor farmers market spills out two days a week with produce and growers. it is a good place to graze, pick up something to take home, and see local makers in person. come hungry and leave with bags.
a Riversdale craft brewery whose cellar door bottle shop (wed–fri 2–6) sells the beer a few steps from where it is made. the drink-in taproom era is over, but the offsale lineup rotates through small-batch releases you will not find in stores.
