The Ukrainian Museum of Canada opens its major 2026-27 exhibition, Threads That Hold the World: Ukrainian Weaving from Homeland to Diaspora, with a curator-led tour and reception. Rachel Ormshaw leads the tour at 2 PM, then the opening reception begins at 3 PM with time to explore the exhibition, meet the curator, and hear brief remarks.
Light refreshments and tea are provided, with a cash bar available. The whole afternoon is free and open to everyone, so it is a welcoming way to discover the show and connect with the community around Ukrainian textile art and culture.
