Beaver Creek Conservation Area
a Meewasin-managed nature preserve a short drive south of the city, where the trails drop down toward the river through aspen and native grassland. roughly 4km of paths give you river views, an interpretive centre, and quiet meadows that feel a long way from town. it is free to walk, leashed dogs are welcome, and the birdwatching is good in the warmer months. an easy reset when you want green space without a long drive. bring water and decent shoes.
