Cranberry Flats Conservation Area
riverside cliffs, a sandy beach, and a web of hiking trails about fifteen minutes south of the city. it is Meewasin-managed and free to access, with the kind of big open river views that make it the unofficial sunset spot once the weather warms up. wander the trails, picnic on the sand, or just sit and watch the light go down over the water. it works for a date, a group, or a family afternoon. best from late spring into fall, and worth timing for golden hour.
open dawn–dusk · best may–september
