drop-in curling, leagues, and learn-to-curl nights in a classic Saskatchewan rink in Sutherland. it is more approachable than it looks, and the learn-to-curl sessions will have you throwing rocks and sweeping within an hour, no experience needed. there is a lounge upstairs to warm up in afterward, and the fees are cheap. it is the wholesome winter alternative to another night at the pub, and a genuinely fun thing to try with a group. the season runs through the cold months, so check what is on before you go.
