the original axe-throwing spot in the city, where an instructor hands you a hatchet, shows you the technique in about five minutes, and turns you loose on the targets. it is more approachable than it sounds, and weirdly satisfying once the axe starts sticking. good for a group, with lanes that handle anywhere from a couple of friends up to about fifty, and open to ages ten and up. book ahead if you are bringing a crowd. a great low-stakes night out with friends.
