cinema at the museum: a simple plan
arts & culturechill
A Simple Plan is a 1998 thriller directed by Sam Raimi about two brothers whose lives unravel after they discover over four million dollars at the site of a crashed airplane. Greed, paranoia, and fear of detection spiral into violence and betrayal as their attempt to keep the money quiet backfires catastrophically. The film runs two hours and contains violence and coarse language, so it is best for viewers fourteen and up.
This screening is part of Cinema at the Museum's December series on winter as a setting for isolation, survival, and human conflict. The film plays both Thursday, December 10 and Friday, December 11 at 7 PM. Tickets are ten dollars, though members and anyone under eighteen get in free. You will need to check in at the front desk to receive an admission token.
