Mike Leigh's 2014 film about the eccentric British painter J.M.W. Turner follows his final 25 years, when he lives boldly while secretly involved with a seaside landlady, and his devoted housekeeper harbors an unspoken love for him. The film runs 150 minutes and is part of Cinema at the Museum's November series, curated from suggestions by audience members in their 2026 survey. Tickets are ten dollars, but members and anyone under eighteen get in free. All guests check in at the front desk to receive an admission token.
